Just about everyday there is a student who has to give an oral presentation on our reading for class. Today was my day. Its the craziest thing...I still have reports and homework to do while here! ;) For the last hour of class, we went into the Capuchin crypt to see the sarcophagi of all of the Habsburgs starting in the 1400, 1500s. Wow. It was interesting to “meet” the people we have been discussing so much in class & who’ve made Austria what is was/is. And from an art perspective...just how the designs of the sarcophagi change and alter with the times. Fascinating!

After class I got to do some more exploring with a group of girls. We decided to head the in the direction of Vienna University & along the way was saw more beautiful gardens, parliament, and gorgeous churches. There is still so much I have yet to see of Vienna. I have to keep a journal for class & I’m pretty positive that I make this same statement in every one of my entries. It is a never ending city!

After grabbing a quick bite to eat, we headed back to the institute. I think we’ve hit the point in the trip were everyone is overwhelmed & just need to sleep. Everyone I talked to was off to study and then head home early for the night. Not a bad idea; I did it too! Prague is tomorrow and I don’t feel even the least bit prepared!
